Neurotoxin injectables such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are used to temporary reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is a non-surgical treatment used to temporary paralyze the targeted muscle. It is used to treat forehead lines, frown lines, bunny lines (creases that appear when the nose wrinkles up), lipstick lines, dimpled chin, crows feet (around the eyes), and in the masseter (jaw muscle) to help with teeth grinding, jaw clenching, and to slim the face. Botox can also be used to treat hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) and correct a gummy smile known as a lip flip! Results take up to two weeks for full effect. Neurotoxin treatments last 3-4 months.
