Kybella is a non-surgical injection technique used to reduce excess fat beneath the chin. Kybella is synthetic deoxycholic acid which is a natural occurring molecule in that body that breaks down and absorbs fat. When injected, it targets fat cells and destroys them. Once these fat cells are destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so results are permanent! The number of treatments varies from patient to patient depending on the amount of fat in the area, the size of the area, and your desired results. One to six treatments may be necessary.
